This morning I woke up to this news item about another journalist being “abducted” and “released” on the Daily Mirror. What struck me was how the Daily Mirror reported it. A badly beaten up Deputy Editor of The Nation Keith NoyharPlease.. They post a couple of pictures of him below that line and he seems to be doing ok for some one who’s badly beaten up.

Granted he looks like he has a couple of bruises and is probably beaten up by some body, but “BADLY”? Why can’t people just report the news as it is without giving it a twist?

I Saw this post about Sri Lankans and how truthful we are by ALjuhara. Couldn’t agree more. The sad news is there’s no accountability. Not for anyone and especially not for journalists. Politicians lie more than journalists (or exaggerate…w/e u prefer) but at least they are liable to lose an election if they lie so obviously… but the journalists keep getting a free pass.

Come to think of it journalists who twist the truth deserve some punches!!
