Well after interrupting the Cricket matches with Sri Lanka and West Indies for News 1st at nine o’clock we can all assume that News 1st on MTV is much more important than Cricket, but all of a sudden with the IPL matches on going Last night (Thursday 24th April) MTV announced that they will be broadcasting News 1st on Shakthi TV, their sister Chanel in Tamil language.
This is a clear example of Maharaja group being hell bent on spreading Indian imperialism in Sri Lanka. Not content with doing completely innocent things like supporting the LTTE now they only give priority to Indian Matches. Not Sri Lankan ones.
So what if there are a handful of Sri Lankans in the squads. But 7/11 players in a Team are Indians, and at most you’d have 3 Sri Lankans playing in a single IPL match. (Last night it was only Vass). So for MTV and the Maharaja Group are telling Sri Lankans to be more interested in watching Indian Matches rather than Sri Lankan ones. It’s bad enough that they show complete crap like “Run Depaya” (Gon Depaya) and Copy Cat shows like Super Dancing Stars. Now we have to put up with this!@#!@#@$#$@#$

In response to the request for Saturday night G rated movies for kids… .In this first year of Topanga Nights we focused on laying the ground work for an event that hopefully will become a successful annual event with more fun elements in which we can schedule weekly or bi-weekly outdoor movie, music and picnic events. With more dates scheduled each month during the summer we can have a greater variety of movies to appeal to a wider variety of audience. Perhaps you can answer this for me Ken: If the police know that a defendant has a legitimate defense for a crime, as Nam did in having a ready-made claim of “Self-Defense”, are they required to prosecute him anyway and force him to present that defense, or can they choose not to prosecute at all? It looks to me in the Nam case that Nam either got bad advice to plead guilty or chose not to contest the charge as a matter of principle. If the police are required to prosecute no matter what then that is a failing of our legal system. If they are not required to and prosecuted Nam anyway, then they are the real criminals in this case as far as I am concerned.

WordPress is indeed a great CMS. The beauty of it is that virtually anyone can quickly learn how to use it, and as you say, Zeke, there are hundreds of different plug-ins to assist in that. I use the Mingle plug-in to host a forum within my site, and it seems to work great. Recently, a friend also turned me onto a nifty little plug-in that will pull in multiple RSS feeds, and keep them updated.
